BETAG innovation created a simple plastic repair system based on welding.
This can only be done by Thermoplastics. The main problem with welding is making sure that you have the same type of plastic. This has been solved with the PT knife with which you can cut out a piece of the same tyoe of plastic or form the same piece. Then the piece has to be cleaned. Then with the welding tip the plastic can be welded into the cut. The V-groove on the tip makes sure that the cut is opened up and heated up. The the plastic can be welded in.
